The billing provider or future customer record owns the subscription, trial, refund state, and renewal status.
Pro download is coming soon.
The open-source package is available today. Pro remains private pre-release until the license, entitlement, and support paths are ready enough for real users.
Account-owned, device-activated.
The planned model is simple: the purchase or trial belongs to the buyer account, while each machine activates a local instance cache. This avoids writing license keys into repositories and keeps code analysis local.
Each development machine validates the entitlement once and stores a user-local activation cache. Personal license activates up to 3 local instances. Source code is not uploaded to activate Pro.
The first public release should not require a website login. A small account portal can come later for license recovery, invoices, and device management.
What must be true first.
Download should open only after the product can support buyers without manual rescue.
Final payment provider, merchant display name, license activation, refund handling, support mailbox, and release smoke all need to be confirmed.
A full web login is not required for the first release. The product can start with checkout, email receipt, license key, CLI activation, and local Workbench output.
